Update!
Ok so I'm now a happy bunny!!
My Doc has said my leg is healing nicely but has prescribed more antibiotics for another week to be on the safe side. Apparently I'm "weird"! The doc couldn't figure out why it took a week and a half of it being normal to present highly aggressive cellulitus in my leg. So apparently that means I'm "weird" hehe like you all didn't already know that :p
My new job starts on Monday! I'm excited to be honest. Really hoping this one works out well. I loved the atmosphere there, the job description, the pay and the benefits! Let's just hope it wasn't a show for the new girl. heh
I'm so glad to be gone from Dr. Freak's place. God, that man was scary. The things he would put his patients through made me cringe and made me extremely angry. I'm actually glad I got so sick because it let me get out of there faster than I could've otherwise.
Now on to getting my driving lessons sorted, student loan paid off and maybe by the fall get a car of my own.
Ooo the plans I have. lol Might even be able to fit in some traveling this summer. (God I hope so.. getting tired of staying so bloody stationary. I have a passport and I wanna use it damn it!)
Anyway this babble session must come to an end :p

ARGH! and YAY!
Ok so I haven't had anything to write on here for a while and now I've got a few things I guess heh
First the "bad news" turns out my foot wasn't completely healed heh the antibiotics killed the "surface" infection but didn't kill all of it :( so its re manifested as cellulitus of the right leg. I was in hospital over night on Monday and now I'm on an IV pump thingie that a nurse comes out to check and its in my hand constantly.. TALK ABOUT FREAKIN' ANNOYING!@#$!%!#$%! The damn thing is just irritating me completely.. If I ever EVER find the guy that stomped on me.. I'm going to kick his ass 6 ways from Sunday I swear. January has been the worst month ever in terms of being off ill and various other things.
My stepbrother, his wife Maggie and my 2 nieces were in a car accident a few nights ago. They are ok though. Just shaken up. Thank god, I happen to really like Ryan and Maggie and the kids. I know that sounds like.. well duh they are family.. but I consider them friends too and anyone that knows me knows that family doesn't automatically get my respect or my friendship as they are just people with the same bloodline) but anyway YAY for the fact they are all ok :)
My other good news is GRRRREAT! I accepted a job at an oral surgeons office. Oral surgery is the specialty I really really REALLY wanted to get into and I did it with just 2 months out of school! How freakin' great is that!?
I start on the 4th of February and I can't wait! The doc's have assured me I will be 100% by the time I start the job so I'm really happy over that. It's a great hourly wage and full benefits. But not only that the atmosphere there is busy but upbeat so I should have a good time working there :)

Americans are a bit on the odd side when it comes to retail....
Ok, so I'm trying to send a gift to a friend down in the states and rather than trust Canada post (which has lost numerous packages on me) I figured I'd order the product online and have them ship it to the person. Sounds reasonable right.... well apparently not!
I've tried to order this product twice now each time I get blocked by the order forms lack of Canadian billing information. so I called the customer service line and said hi, I'm calling to order I need it shipped in the states to someone in the states but I'll be paying (American money ofc) with my Canadian credit card... Ooo no go.. due to taxes etc etc.. WTF!? I'll pay the taxes.. its not coming to Canada you freakin' moron.
Sigh, I guess they don't want my money after all. And I'll end up having to ship my gift UPS or something cause I don't trust Canada Post as far as I could pick all of them up at the same time and throw them :P
so bloody annoying cause its not like I can go to the mall and pick up what I want to pick up anyway at the moment. GRRRRR
Anyway thats my rant for the day. :P
On a side note.. my new puppy Rye.. HOWLS LIKE A MOFO ALL NIGHT LONG! I swear he's going to be an oven mitt one of these days....! I love him to bits really I do but jeeeeez louise!

boredom...
You know.. when you are so used to being on the go alllll the freakin' time. sitting at home doing nothing should be an amazing time to just chill out.
ITS NOT!! I'm so bored that I feel like I'm losing my mind and its only been a few days. I have nothing to read except for some really crappy harlequin books were the couple of the story always seems to get either engaged or married within 2 weeks of meeting.. how messed up is that? seriously. I think instead of reading any more of those I'm just going to spend the rest of the week staring at my fish sparky!
He's a Crowntail Beta and he's beautiful :)
well he's far more interesting than those stupid cookie cutter romance books anyway :/

Follow up for the foot....
Right, so I went to the doc's this evening. Turns out I have a rather horrible infection in the toe thats broken and its causing all sorts of damage :(
He's given me strong antibiotics to take twice a day and has ordered me to stay home for at least another week. My boss was not happy although he was still understanding. But still, I've only been there for 3 weeks.. and now I'll be off for 2.. thats pretty freakin' crappy if you ask me :/
Because of the moron that stomped on my foot.. I have lost $948 in wages and payment for medication. I'm sooooo not happy right now.

New year... New thoughts...
Ok so I've been thinking about it for a while and decided that maybe I should start to blog. I've missed having something to just write all my thoughts and ramblings on plus I do have quite a few friends around the world that due to my wonderful 16hr workday schedule (thats work and travel time) I never seem to catch up with. This way they will know whats up with me and either have thier own blogs or just leave messages or whatever.
So its 2008, what the heck does that mean for me? I've been thinking about it for a bit now and I'm hoping this is the year my life finally starts moving forward. I dont have any particular "resolutions" persay but I do want certain things to improve. So here's hoping 2008 will be my year..
I started this year off with a bang.. or more like an OUCH because at the moment I'm currently sitting at home nursing a broken toe (hairline fracture of right #2 apparently) and a "crush injury" meaning all the ligaments, muscle tissue and stuff in the surrounding area. It's also infected and just looks uber gross. I'm rather grossed out by my own foot :(
To say I'm not a happy bunny right now is the understatement of the year.
A rather large man (I'd guess 300+lbs) stomped on it on the 27th of December, full weight and either work boots on or heavy winter boots. He disappeared without even saying sorry too. what a dick :(
And of course this happens when I've just started a new job. Sigh, what a great start, 3 weeks into my job and I'm already taking a week off due to illness/injury...nice eh?
My boss took it surprisingly well though to be honest. It may be because he saw the foot on Monday when I went in despite the pain. (that was before the emerg room visit when I just thought it was a broken toe) I think he's figured out that I'd be there if I could. Grr this annoys me so much. Hate being stuck like this because some random guy can't watch where he puts his feet. blah.
Anyway I didnt mean to babble too much so I'm going to stop now :p
